White Tears – Debby Irving
I recall the first time I heard the term “white tears” and more specifically “white women’s tears.” Over the years my understanding of the term has grown, and even connects to a memory I have of the day I got my driver’s license. White tears have been a window into some of the most important personal work I’ve have to do as a white woman engaged in racial justice. – Debby Irving
